    Remember the Ride

    Seeing I'm not riding my bike at the moment, I am re-living some of the memories.  These pics are from a ride we did from Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town (South Africa) in January.  More later.   But there is light on the horizon.  I am making tentative plans to do a Jollie Patrollie (translation: very easy ride) on Saturday at Northern Farm to be finished off by a bacon and egg roll.  Now there's an incentive.

    I host two cycling stage races - road and mountain bike - and I have just added a third event - The Alchemy Trail.. I like to tour rather than race and I crave wide open spaces. I completed the 2300km Race Across South Africa in June 2009 which inspired blogging. I don't do well without a goal of sorts and that keeps me outdoors.

    While this seems primarily a cycling blog, I'm interested in much, much more. There's more on trail running, novel writing and anything else that catches my interest.
